For a few years actually, I’ve been slowly studying recreation dev and asset creation (3d modelling and so forth). After a lot time, I’m changing into moderately expert at modelling and writing code for video games. Nevertheless, making good 3d artwork remains to be eluding me.
I could make the mannequin. I may even unwrap it and create a UV Map picture. However once I see different previous business video games they use a texture much like this:
And I’m questioning how is that this created? To me, it even seems to be as if they’ve managed to unwrap an already textured mannequin and switch it into this.
The one approach I can consider is to attract it manually myself. However many examples I’ve seen in actual video games (and indie recreation initiatives), the textures look too good to have been made by hand. They actually appear to be they by some means unwrapped an current mannequin. However clearly in some unspecified time in the future in time any individual needed to make it from scratch, and I’m questioning how that is performed.
Any direct assistance on this matter could be massively appreciated. Thanks for studying.
