The Serbian Ministry of the Inside reported over the weekend being focused by not less than 5 separate distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) assaults in 48 hours, meant to hobble the nation’s IT infrastructure.
Working collectively, the Ministry of Inner Affairs and Telecom Serbia have been capable of fend off the DDoS assaults.
“All assaults have been repelled and the Ministry’s bases have been protected and secure,” the assertion stated. “Enhanced safety protocols have been activated, which may result in slower work and occasional interruptions of sure companies, all to be able to shield the info of the Ministry of Inner Affairs.”
The cyberattacks come amid rising tensions within the Balkans because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
