permalinks – Pages resolve at completely different URLs (completely different capitalizations)

I’ve at all times thought of these to be two completely different URLs:

https://oursite.com/enjoyable/

https://oursite.com/Enjoyable/

On our website, the identical web page masses when coming into every URL.

Did one thing change in WordPress to behave this fashion? Is that this default? I assumed WP used to redirect to the permalink…

I believe most well-liked behaviour could be to think about them the identical, and at all times redirect e.g. /Enjoyable/ to /enjoyable/ (the canonical URL / permalink).

Our present permalink settings are Submit Title: https://www.oursite.ca/sample-post/ (second to final choice, proper above “Customized Construction.”

PS – Sadly we’re getting cut up entries in Google Analytics because of this behaviour.
