Testimony offered by a Justice Division official to the US Home of Representatives late final week has revealed that legislation enforcement is investigating a cyberattack on the federal courts’ record-management system, reportedly launched by three hostile nation-states.
Head of the DoJ’s Nationwide Safety Division Matt Olsen advised the committee that the incident, first found in March, is a “important concern,” in response to Reuters.
Whereas unable to supply extra particular details about the nations behind the cyberattack, Olsen added his division is concentrated on China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, Reuters mentioned.
