Load complete stage directly or by fragments – cocos2d-x


hi there,

this can be a theoretical query. Say you will have a sport like tremendous mario. Again then, what they did it in outdated consoles, or a minimum of for that particular sport within the NES, they loaded the extent on the fly. It begins with the principle “fragment” of the extent with the background, sprites, and so on…, they usually had one other fragment of display screen. And so long as the participant strikes ahead, new fragments are loaded , and those of display screen disapear.
Is that this nonetheless relevan at present, or are you able to simply load the enitre stage directly with out worrying about producing and eradicating what’s offscreen because the participant strikes round.
