Seeking to enhance community visibility, Cisco plans to purchase Accedian Networks, makers of software program for monitoring and analyzing community efficiency.
Based 2004, Accecian sells Skylight, a platform that diagnoses issues and recommends remediation to repair them. The package deal is aimed toward cell backhaul, data-center providers, service suppliers, and cloud-connectivity clients.
The corporate, which competes with gamers together with IBM, SolarWinds, Progress, NetScout, and Kentik, is already a Cisco enterprise accomplice. Cisco provides Skylight for near-real-time community efficiency monitoring, analytics, and assurance inside its Cisco Crosswork Community Automation platform for service suppliers.
